Gloria In Excelsis Deo / De Musique Hourtin Médoc à l'Église de Hourtin

After one year of waiting from hearing about Hourtin by Professor Alexandre Brussilovsky in Hamburg (during Violino Virtuoso Series at Alfred Schnittke Akademie Internationale in Hamburg), I could finally come to Hourtin and Médoc (France) to attend his Violin Masterclass in France and play on French concerts. It was also few years after playing La Campanella by Niccolò Paganini at the Auditorium of CRR Paris (? which was near to Fondation Léopold Bellan).

In Hourtin, Professor Brussilovsky was hosting the opening ceremony and progressing the coordinations for all three concerts and the preparation planning at Salle d'Animation d'Hourtin Port. He also instructed all applicants how to come to the lesson room, rehearsal rooms in each form of concerts, practice rooms, restaurant and Fort d'Enfant (which is between the bridge and the Three Lesson Rooms Building) etc. And what's more, he prepared, brought and delivered all the orchestral parts of the all Four Seasons by Antonio Vivaldi, Danse Sacrée and Danse Profane by Claude Debussy for all of Académie Hourtin Médoc Orchestra members.

In my case, although I and Professor Brussilovsky were in course of studying 2nd Violin Concerto by Sergei Prokofiev and 2nd Violin Concerto "La Campanella" by Niccolò Paganini (mainly Second Mvt.), we decided to continue more perfection of 1st Violin Concerto by Paganini for the urgent use. Here are the programs ;

Église de Hourtin / Concert de Clôture "De Musique Hourtin Médoc" (22 April 2017, Hourtin France)

Niccolò Paganini ; Violin Concerto No. 1 in D major Op. 6, 2nd (Adagio) and 3rd (Rondo) Mvts.

Alucard Leterme, Violin

Kaori Hiyama, Piano Accompaniment

21ème Académie Internationale Musique Hourtin par Université Musicale Hourtin Médoc / Violin Masterclass by Professor Alexandre Brussilovsky (15 - 23 April 2017, Hourtin Port, Hourtin France)

Niccolò Paganini ; Violin Concerto No. 1 in D major Op. 6

Flint Juventino Beppe ; Violin Sonata No. 2 Op. 56

Alucard Leterme, Violin

Kaori Hiyama, Piano Accompaniment (for Paganini)

Each Violin lessons by Professor Brussilovsky had been held at Pomerot Room after passing Fort d'Enfant and we discussed how to be ready for the all concerts at Open Rehearsal Room (in the three rehearsal rooms building), Église de Hourtin (Church) and Église de Gaillan Médoc (Church), etc. There, nobody boycotted any concerts at any reasons.

The revue of the Cloture Concert had been changed to Église de Hourtin (Church) instead of Salle d'Animation of Hourtin Port since before attending the Conference for Russian Ballet Music on 21 April 2017 afternoon at Salle d'Animation. There, I was happy to play 1st Violin Concerto by Paganini also at Église de Hourtin with warm and crystal acoustic, under the altar arch of "Gloria In Excelsis Deo". The accompaniment by Kaori Hiyama was very comfortable to play Violin Concerto by Niccolò Paganini.

Before and even after the concert, I heard several discussions for the huge difference (or rather "contradiction" ?) of duration of the Cloture Concert even also from Professor Brussilovsky ; more than 2 hours or just 20 minutes ? There I was believing that the short one is just for my approximative performance duration only for 2nd and 3rd mvts. of the 1st Violin Concerto by Paganini. However, I doubted what I heard today from regional radio news in Bordeaux that only the soloist violinist at the concert in Huy (Belgium) played on the concert yesterday at Église de Hourtin. There, also the cloturation of its concerned studio had been announced.

After leaving Hourtin to Bordeaux, I saw a ultra vivid dream that I was diving into warm deep blue water in a (kind of ?) sunk church (?!) building which had a light column at the center, ultra comfortably. From there, I saw a non-broken light stained glass and took the photo (?!).
