RMIW / Rencontres Musicales Internationales en Wallonie
Since 14 years to come to Wavre / Waver again after listening short violin and organ recital by one of my ancient professors Adam Korniszewski, for the works by Josef Gabriel Rheinberger and Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach with organ accompaniments. Whether I was already having land intuition also in Waver / Wavre thanks to the first visit, coming to Académie de Musique de Ville de Wavre (Music Academy of Wavre) for "Rencontres Musicales Internationales en Wallonie (RMIW)" was not too difficult. During entire period of the RMIW, I attended Violin Masterclass by Professor Tomasz Tomaszewski in order to continue my violin study with him after his Masterclass in UdK Berlin in last month.
I was really, really glad to come to Belgium for violinistic purpose ; to study the violin with Professor Tomaszewski and perform on concerts in Belgium also in this year, after the New Year's Concert in Last year even I'm living in Germany now. Although Wavre / Waver is in Brabant Wallon Region I think, many ambitious Germans from Hamburg and Würzburg were coming in Waver / Wavre and repeatedly talking how to connect themselves to certain artistic career in Berlin whether with or without UdK Berlin, before and after Violin Masterclass by Professor Tomaszewski.
The opening reception had been held at the City Hall or Reception Hall of Hôtel de Ville (Public Office) of Wavre / Waver very sympatically. There however, I could not understand why only the audience was damaged wooden floor (not on the stage).
Here are the programs ;
Concert Series in the framework of RMIW / Rencontres Musicales Internationales en Wallonie (04 and 07 April 2017, Auditorium Dupont Del Sart of Académie de Musique de Ville de Wavre, Wavre / Waver Belgium)
Niccolò Paganini ; Violin Concerto No. 1 in D major Op. 6, 2nd (Adagio) and 3rd (Rondo) Mvts.
Alucard Leterme, Violin
Dino Anglani, Piano Accompaniment
RMIW / Rencontres Musicales Internationales en Wallonie / Violin Masterclass by Professor Tomasz Tomaszewski (02 - 08 April 2017, Académie de Musique de Ville de Wavre, Waver / Wavre Belgium)
Niccolò Paganini ; Violin Concerto No. 1 in D major Op. 6
Johann Sebastian Bach ; Partita No. 2 in d minor BWV1004 (whole movements including Ciaconna / Chaconne)
Alucard Leterme, Violin
Dino Anglani, Piano Accompaniment (for Paganini)
Each Violin Lesson by Professor Tomaszewski is hyper intensive without losing any concentrations at any moments, at all ! We also experimented a new but high-performanced and beautiful baroque bow (which Professor Tomaszewski explained me that it was made by a Baroque Violin Maker in Hamburg) in order to understand and found more appropriate bow movements in Partita No. 2 by Johann Sebastian Bach and tried harder perfection of Violin Concerto No. 1 by Niccolò Paganini but to perform the concerto as comfortable as possible.
Immediately, we decided to play Violin Concerto by Paganini on 04 April 2017 in the program of RMIW concert series at Auditorium Dupont Del Sart. There, due to modification of the program order (caused by guitarist's late arrival), I performed much earlier than the expected time. However, I could show my concert playing to Professor Tomasz Tomaszewski on my second concert on 07 April 2017. The accompanist M. Dino Anglani opened the door of my rehearsal room freshly and cheerfully told me "Naoko ! C'est toi, maintenant !" to hurry to the stage of Auditorium Dupont Del Sart. The accompaniments by M. Anglani were very stable and comfortable to play until the last note of the Violin Concerto by Niccolò Paganini. The acoustic of Auditorium Dupont Del Sart was as dry as Weißsaal (White Hall) of Bad Kissingen (Germany).
But, Zeit geht schnell ! I already attended the last violin lesson by Professor Tomasz Tomaszewski for this time. Professor Tomaszewski gave me his edited music of a beautiful violin piece "Buntes Allerlei / Capriziöser Waltzer" by Georg Boulanger (one of the pupils of Leopold Auer) !! And I began practicing it with my current program.
