All Saints Anglican Cathedral Concert

An unexpected but nice and beautiful concert opportunity came to me. Ms. Rebecca Broadbent Petersen of Price Rubin & Partners asked me to perform approximately 60 minutes of unaccompanied solo violin recital at All Saints Anglican Cathedral of Tulsa. We immediately agreed and determined the entire program for this concert at the Cathedral. In Tulsa, I followed all instructions by M. Jack Price of Price Rubin & Partners for the concert and the rehearsals at All Saints Anglican Cathedral. It was too short but really nice time.

Here's the program ;

All Saints Anglican Cathedral Concert (Unaccompanied solo violin recital ; 11 December 2016, All Saints Anglican Cathedral of Tulsa OK USA)

Johann Sebastian Bach : Partita No. 2 in d BWV1004 (whole movements including Chaconne)

Eugène Ysaÿe : Sonata No. 3 "Ballade" in d "à George Enescu"

Eugène Ysaÿe : Sonata No. 4 in e "à Fritz Kreisler"

Niccolò Paganini : Capricci / Caprices No. 13, 20 and 24

Naoko Matsui, Violin (unaccompanied solo)

Only Partita No. 2 by Johann Sebastian Bach (whole movements included Chaconne) was requested by M. Jack Price of Price Rubin & Partners among this program. On 10 December 2016, whether I was too concentrated on myself for the concert and the rehearsals at All Saints Anglican Cathedral, I suddenly heard "Ballade (Sonata No. 3 by Eugène Ysaÿe) is just to play here (All Saints Anglican Cathedral of Tulsa) ! It's all about your concert at tommorow !!" and the more I rehearsed, the more my rest questions about my interpretations had been disappeared.

The audience was really sympatic that I could receive big applause for quasi each movement or repertory and they made me much comfortable and having good rythm to play whole program without being tired.

I really delighted to being called and appreciated "Beautiful violinist !", "How beautiful violinist, you are !", "Beautiful ! Wonderful !", "You played so nicely and so beautifully !", "You are so talented !" etc. by the audience people after this concert so many times and requested to come to the All Saints Anglican Cathedral again to give my concert(s) again. There, I also wish to play again, of course.

And lots of thanks for the beautiful bouquet for my concert at All Saints Anglican Cathedral of Tulsa !
