Crotone in Musica

This year "Crotone in Musica" by Società Beethoven A.C.A.M. had been held during 18 - 25 July 2015 instead of the first week of this September. There I attended the "Corso di Perfezionamento del Violino" by Maestro Giuseppe Arnaboldi for the third time after being the 1st Prize winner of XVI Concorso Internazionale Vincenzo Scaramuzza in 2013, in order to prepare myself for my coming important concerts and the perfection of the violin performance especially for the important and celebrated violin repertories with Maestro Arnaboldi. Here are the programs for Crotone in Musica ;

Concerto Finale "Crotone in Musica" (23 July 2015, Crotone Italy)

Simply journal practicing of the violin in 38°C air was extremely hard, even in Heaven. This time I really wondered why are the flowers never dried up. However it was not enough neither to lower our tension nor postpone our practicing and performances, fortunately. This year the evening concert had been held only once on 23 July 2015 evening instead of every evening as usual, thus we prepared bit bigger program than usual for the concert on that day. I was concentrating for a violin concerto which I'm going to perform with orchestra with being irresolute for the cloture concert program until the morning of the concert day due to condition of the concert auditorium which was different from last year.

On 23 July morning I took the Capriccio No. 5 by Niccolò Paganini for the first lecture with Maestro Arnaboldi and suddenly it struck me that this capriccio might be performed on the evening concert even with other works by Niccolò Paganini and Johann Sebastian Bach. There Maestro Arnaboldi agreed with me to decide myself whether I perform also the Capriccio No. 5 for my first time and no longer I could stop practicing it during approximately 11 hours (including twice meal times) after finishing the lecture until the opening time of the concert. A premonition that there would no longer be another opportunity to perform the same capriccio on public for my first time cheered me up magnificently until the real concert.

After this concert I and Maestro Arnaboldi reviewed my entire concert program as detail as possible in the rest of (but really short) time until the end of this time. At least I'm already capable to judge and critic myself what to do and advance more but also very positively.
